I stram hårknut och klädd i blått med matchande örhängen deltog kronprinsessan vid 2020 Virtual Keystone Dialogue hemifrån Haga slott. Representanter från världens tio största fisk- och skaldjursföretag, samt experter och forskare inom området deltog vid mötet.
Under måndagen inleddes mötet med att ordförande Shigeru Ito hälsade välkomna och därefter talade Kronprinsessan. I sitt tal lyfte Kronprinsessan vikten av SeaBOS och samarbetet mellan fiskeföretagen för att nå ett hållbart fiske:
”Ladies and gentlemen, leaders of the global seafood industry:
You are used to working towards clear and ambitious goals.
You know the power of honouring your commitments.
And you are not afraid to exercise leadership.
I am convinced that if anyone can achieve a global transformation towards sustainable seafood production and a healthy ocean, you are the group to do it.
And if you do that – if you show the world that this can really be done – I know that others are going to follow.”

Under tisdagen fortsatte 2020 Virtual Keystone Dialogue.
SeaBOS syftar till att få världens fiskeindustri att arbeta på ett mer hållbart sätt. Vid 2020 Virtual Keystone Dialogue diskuteras bland annat frågor om IUU Fishing (Illegal, Unreported, Unregulated), hur företagen kan arbeta för att minska plast i haven, klimatförändringar, antibiotikaanvändning samt arbetet vidare inom SeaBOS.
Vid mötet enades aktörerna om tidssatta mål för de olika områdena som diskuterats.
Som avslutning av 2020 Virtual Keystone Dialogue summerade kronprinsessan mötet samt sade:
