Igår invigde kronprinsessan Victoria Stockholm Art Week med ett digitalt tal. Stockholm Art Week äger rum 21–25 april och inleds på FN:s globala dag för innovation och kreativitet där konstens betydelse för ett hållbart samhälle är i fokus i år. I sitt tal lyfte kronprinsessan vikten av konst och kultur:
“Art and culture (…) help us appreciate our differences – but also, to see how much there is that unites us, as humans, across time and space.
I hope that this day and the week ahead will inspire more young people to find their creative voice, to trust it – and to use it. “

Syftet med Stockholm Art Week är att lyfta fram Stockholm som en levande konststad och Sverige som en konstdestination.
